Did we confuse you? In our Winter 2012 issue of the magazine we had photos and coverage of the CKCSC, USA's National Specialty Show.  However, under Ch. Miletree Northern Star at Shirmont's photo we said he was Best in Show/WD/Best Blenheim and Best in Sweepstakes. Woops... Although he did win the other honors, he's a little too old for the Puppy Sweepstakes.  So we thought we'd share a photo of the actual Best Puppy in Sweepstake Winner, his daughter, Ch. Pinecrest Shirmont Moonlight Madness, JW, whose dam is Orchardhill Party Manners.  "Maddie" was bred by Mary Grace and Ted Eubank and is owned by Dr. Bruce and Shirley Henry. Sweepstakes Judge in the photo is Brenda Martz and photo was by Shelly Fields.

Our "Cavaliers & Charlies in Action" Photo Contest has ended. Congratulations to our winner - Richard Speer of Oregon, USA whose photo had 593 "likes," to our 1st Runner Up - Ági Szandi of Hungary who had 492 "likes" and to our 2nd Runner Up Véronique Bruijnzeels-Holtus of The Netherlands with 350 "likes." Thank you to everyone who participated by sending photos and voting! As always, we had a lot of fun. Keep an eye on our news page or Facebook page to see what the next photo contest will be.

On February 12, 2012 in New York City, the Dog Writers Association of America held it's annual writing competition. I am so pleased to announce that The Royal Spaniels magazine was the Maxwell Medallion winner for three different categories: Best Single Breed Magazine ~~ Best Editorial/Opinion by Rachel Venier ~~ and Best Series in a Magazine by Dr. Larry Bernstein. A special thank you to all of our readers, contributors, and advertisers who have made our magazine a success. We couldn't have done it without YOU!

We have some exciting news! The Royal Spaniels magazine is creating a great new resource for Cavalier and English Toy Spaniel owners. We have been asked many times to do a stud dog issue and we have decided, we will do one better.  We will create a Stud Dog Directory in our magazine and on our website!  This directory will be available to people around the world.  You can place a listing for your stud dog for the low rate of only $150 USD. This listing will then print for one full year (four consecutive issues) in our Royal Spaniels magazine. Our subscribers from around the world will have your stud dog's information at their fingertips.

In addition, we are also creating a link to the Stud Dog Directory on our website.  Your ad will run for a full year here as well.  This will give unlimited access to internet viewers from around the world.

This will be a great new resource for breeders!
